13. I’M FINE… AND OTHER LIES - Whitney Cummings

I am a believer in self help books. I try to read them regularly to help see me through and hopefully offer a different perspective. Even though a lot say the same things in different ways. They must be onto something right? What i really enjoyed about this book was I came More for the memoir or humorous essays. As at times you get either or when it comes to comedians putting out books, but what really stayed with me and I truly benefited from and I am sure iAm not the only one. Was the self help and advice potions of the book told in humorous details. That showed her not only to be vulnerable but human by continuing to make the same mistakes and the results that eventually did teach her lessons that reinforced to her to swerve over to the right path or at least make better informed decisions. For that this book is invaluable and memorable and worthy of re-reading.

12. THE TAO OF BILL MURRAY: REAL LIFE STORIES OF JOY, ENLIGHTENMENT AND PARTY CRASHING - Gavin Edwards

I Know it is more anecdotes and reporting but this is a book that makes you feel good and actually learn to relax and be comfortable in your weirdness.

1. HARD LOVE - Ellen Wittlinger

The top two books need to be together. As they tell the whole story even if they each tell a story. They tell one continuous tale individually.
