The film tells the story of a young man who is a bad car salesman who on the eve of his 30th birthday is about to be kicked out of the house by his poarents who want him to grow up. He get's no respect at work either. Then one day he meets a girl who likes him even though she is as lost as he is. as they bond they help each other get over their fears and get him to grow uop and take responsibility.

This is a film that goes for sincerity and a certain sweetness. By having innocents trying to find their way in a rough world. Making the film feel at times like a storybook without the vivid images. Yet with bright distracting colors nd a drab raw look.

No offesne but matthew lillard does well with the role but it'shard to believe his character is only 30 years old. In the film he looks noticeably older. The film has a collection of recognizablr indie actors. Who do well in their bit parts. Not that they have much to work with since they aren't even given any room to be distractions from the main couple.

The film is too quirky for it's own good and for a short feature film it becomes annoying very fast.

I love the theme song that plays throughout the film "MANDY" by The Spinto Band. It is instantly catchy and romantic. It is one of my favorite songs, but i already have the album. I notice quite a few indie films are now beginning to use the song.

The real reason i even put up with this film is the lead actress Nora Zehtner. Who at this point should be getting bigger and better roles, She has a ingenue look and talent, But i keep seeing her in films such as these bad to just ok indie films. She deserves much better material. At least she is working, As her appearance in the movie BRICK proves she can play innocence, but also secretly have a bad side.

Unless you are really into the leads i would suggest. Skip it
